CRMC's main Harris campus is a 218-bed facility with 64 skilled nursing care beds. CRMC's Grover M. Hermann Hospital (Callicoon campus) is a 15-bed facility with 10 beds that can be used for either acute care or skilled nursing care. Responsibilities
The Registered Nurse will be responsible for implementing the Nursing Process based on established Standards of Practice and ensuring all patient care policies and procedures are adhered to in accordance with CRMCHospital policies, the Nurse Practice Act, and the New York State Licensure requirements. The registered nurse will be able to exhibit critical thinking, effectively organize/prioritize accordingly, and implement evidence based nursing.
Qualifications
One year medical/surgical experience in acute care setting preferred.
Certification in Managing Crisis situations to be obtained within 6 months of hire. ANCC-Psych/MH preferred.
Currently licensed and registered in NY State to practice as a professional nurse. 2. Baccalaureate degree in Nursing preferred. Maintains all required certifications for the areas assigned. Successful completion of BLS Provider Course.
