Nurse (RN)
SEEKING AN EXPERIENCED NURSE TO WORK WITH CHILDREN ON THE AUTISM SPECTRUM.
REGISTERED NURSE
Provides professional nursing care for individuals with developmental disabilities utilizing a holistic approach and Nursing Process as governed by the Nurse Practice Act and The Code of Nurses.
PRIMARY DUTIES
Assumes responsibilities for all aspects of health and wellness of individuals during assigned shift.
Ensures the implementation of Primary Nurse Responsibilities.
Ensures that all medications and treatments are administered.
Participates as an active member of the transdisciplinary team.
Maintains a healthy and safe environment
QUALIFICATIONS
Graduate of an approved school of Nursing, Associate of Science, or higher degree from an accredited institution offering a curriculum in nursing.
A Registered Professional Nurse currently licensed in the state of New York.
2-5 years of nursing experience
Demonstrated skill and experience in utilization of the nursing process and multi-disciplinary approach.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
